Haven Heights Newsletter

Hello to everyone from Haven Heights Subdivision. We are about mid way through the fall color change and the trees are just magnificent here in the mountains of North Carolina! Check out some of the pictures in this newsletter.

NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION IS NEARING COMPLETION!

The log home on lot 90 is finished and the home owners have already been here enjoying their North Carolina real estate for vacation fun! More homes have been started and some lot owners have put in their driveways in preparation for starting their new homes. NC mountain properties are perhaps the best way to avoid city life and the boredom of the suburbs.

Here is the house on lot 102. The owners are full time residents of Haven Heights. Mountain property NC is perhaps the best way to flee traffic, pollution and the boredom of suburbia. NEW DELTEC HOME NEARING COMPLETION

Lots 82 & 83 are owned by a couple who are building a Deltec home. This home is fabricated in a factory located in Asheville. The sections are then brought to the building site and assembled into the house that you see in this picture. The build time is greatly reduced and the home is dried in very quickly so that the weather does not affect the building materials. Gail and I went to the factory tour and we were very impressed with the quality and workmanship of these homes. They also have a finished model home located in Asheville. PHASE V HAS BEEN COMPLETED!


All of the roads have been finished in Phase V and some of the lots have been reconfigured to provide us with more one acre parcels near the pond area. Check out the latest plot plan below.



Most lots have great distant mountain views. As you can see on the map above there are several lots that face the pond or are very close to the pond. These lots may go fast, so if you are interested contact us ASAP! All of the lots in Phase V are heavily wooded. There is no time limit for building a home, so you can buy the lot now and build whenever you want. We do not allow single or double wide mobile homes in the Haven Heights Subdivision. COMMON AREA AROUND THE POND IS READY

The area around the pond has been cleared and is ready for picnicking.


This is a wonderful spot to gather for a family outing or just bring a lawn chair down and sit and relax! This area will be available to all lot owners. Lots 160 through 164 border the pond and are available for purchase at this time. They range from 1.0 acres to 1.48 acres. Check them out before they are all gone. COMMON AREA NEXT TO CREEK FINISHED

This area looks great! It is there for all lot owners to enjoy. There are still some lots available around this area so that you could be close by and be within walking distance to this great park. This park has a wonderful creek that borders The west side . This creek is always flowing even during dry periods.


MAGIC CREEK LANE IS TRULY A MAGICAL PLACE

There are some lovely lots in this area—very secluded and quiet! Some of the lots have the creek running through the middle and some have the creek at the property line. This is a really nice section of Haven Heights. It is also close to the common area that is shown above.

HAVEN HEIGHTS IS STILL A FAMILY RUN DEVELOPMENT

Haven Heights was started by Joy Nash and Chuck Whitnel in 2005. Chuck has been a friend of the family for so long that we all feel he is a family member. He and Mark Nash (Joy’s son) have been buddies since they were five years old.


Whitnel Properties is proud of it’s record of being a company that does not use high pressure sales techniques to sell the property at Haven Heights. We have a great subdivision and we are keeping the lot prices low in order to make them available to everyone without causing buyers finical strain.

Fred and Gail Vaccaro moved from San Jose California in December of 2004 and they became Real Estate Brokers right after they moved to NC. Gail is Joy’s daughter. Both have been helping Joy with the daily duties of selling and managing the development since early 2006. Fred helps in the sales of lots as well as overseeing road construction, subdivision maintenance and security. Gail handles the general bookkeeping and mortgage process as well as selling lots.
